How have I accrued additional charges if my SIM is blocked?

My phone was stolen a few months ago. I reported it as stolen and blocked the phone and the sim. I am still being charged the monthly fee as well as an extortionate amount of add ons. This should not be the case if the sim is blocked and not in use?

 

I tried contacting iD mobile services but due to Covid there are no call centres open. I have been charged a ridiculous amount for a phone I do not have. To put it simply, I am furious. I expect a refund for all the money I have lost.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to contact them, or when lines will be open?

Hi @ahssan31, your contract wouldn’t end in the case of a stolen phone, so you’d continue to be billed your usual monthly rate. If you need a new SIM to use with a different phone, we can send one out, no bother.

However, I’m concerned to hear that you’re still being charged for add-ons if the SIM has been blocked. If you contact our Live Chat team, they’ll be able to take a look into your account and see what’s going on.

They’re available between 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Once you land on the page above, scroll down to see the Live Chat section.
