0300 and 0330 calling

My apologies if this question was asked previously. I’ve just switched to a new ID mobile pay monthly phone contract yesterday…..Discovered that when calling UK 0300 or 0330 numbers from my phone, result in busy, call type not supported or cut off after a few mins of a successful call connection. So I’m guessing, that calls to these type of UK commercial numbers are not covered in the ID mobile contract call plan, even though I’m on unlimited call minutes, TXT’s and data. Can anyone confirm this is indeed the case, and if it is, what we can add to the plan to make calls to 03XXX numbers etc?

Hi @wasgood

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on the community.

It would depend on the particular number you are calling.

Full details of call charges and what is included in your tariff can be found here

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Yes I’m already aware of the details provided re call charges. You are an ID mobile employee, and your reply offers nothing…..I find it extremely annoying that ID do not include these type of calls in their contract plans. I wasn’t aware of this before signing up to the 2 yr contract...To be honest, I wasn’t even aware that UK mobile carriers had such exclusion policies, based on my experience with carriers in the UK since 1999……..You even have the audacity to claim you offer Wi-Fi calling, so explain why, if I connect my ID mobile to my home network, switch on Wi-Fi calling, but those Wi-Fi calls are deducted from the ID mobile call plan…..That is utter nonsense…...You use Wi-Fi calling options when carrier network signals are poor, so how can you, ID mobile, charge for that usage…...I will be raising a complaint with Ofcom, highlighting these post contract agreement hindrances…...Totally dissatisfied with the upfront exclusion issues, that you don’t detail, prior to contract sign up…...It isn’t acceptable to conduct business this way, as mobile carrier offering services in the UK 😡
