April price increase more than should be

Hello,

 

After reading about the CPI 3.9% as my contract started before 01/25, I am wondering why my bill has increased so much, there have been no extra charges at all as I barely use it.

 

There has been £3.50 added to my bill and this is not 3.9% of £52.99 and I would like to know why. It should only be around £2.00 extra, not nearly double.

To confirm, for 2025, the CPI rate (+3.9% fixed rate) is 6.9%.
