This is the first month of a new contract.

New amount is £32.99

Old amount was sim only £7

I overpaid by an extra £7 also as didn't realise it had gone through.

This bill is £47+ with no extra charges

Next month bill is £80+

I need help, this is crazy amounts

Hi @Lynneas,

Welcome to the Community!

It’s likely that the upgrade/new bill is for 2 months.

Any amount owed back to you should reflect on the new bill.

All charges are visible on your bill with a full breakdown.

If your original contract was £45 per month and you didn’t change your plan at the end of the initial 12/24 month contract then the £45 would still be being charged.

Or are you saying your original contract reached the end of its term of 12/24 months and you changed your plan to a £10 per month SIM only deal?

Does the online account portal or app show the price of £45 or £10?

Could it be your normal payment is £10 per month but you’re spending an extra £35 per month incurring chargeable use?

Thanks for clarifying

If they're wrongly taking £45 instead of £10 then for the following month your account (excluding any out of plan charges) would be -£35 and therefore as it was in credit they shouldn’t be taking any money out of the account anyway (any credit is taken before the DD).

The only other scenario is that you changed your plan at month 10 or 22. If that’s the case then you’d still be paying off the balance of the phone

Anyway, based on what you’ve said you really need to get them to delve into the reason why, so I would suggest using their live chat

Their Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.

You can access Live Chat here: www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

(it would be advisable after filling out the require fields to then type talk to person as this bypasses their automated chat bot - this is a typing based format)
