You can make a manual payment at any time but if a bill has already been produced whilst an active direct debit is linked to the account, the payment will be taken as normal.

so what will they do with the money I paid? 

If you’ve got credit on your iD account when your monthly bill is produced, normally iD Mobile would use any account credit first, ​@amembn. 

so next month it will use the credit instead of taking the direct debit payment?

If you paid money into your account early, it’d stay on your account as a credit, any credit would go towards future bills.
