Good morning, 

 

I changed my DD earlier this month, from my personal account to our joint account.

 

My payment usually goes out around 23rd, it didn't go from either, so ID said they would suspend my account. I have now paid the outstanding amount.

 

How do I know if future DD's will go out and will another payment go out for this month via a DD even though I just paid the bill? 

 

Also, why did this payment not go out via my new DD setup?

Welcome to the Community!

Your direct debit can take 10 working days to set up but it’s usually quicker.

Please check your iD Mobile app or account to check that the direct debit is active.

I have two phones with ID mobile, one for me and one for a now ex girlfriend, is it possible to transfer the direct debit of her phone over to her? Or does it have to stay in my name?

It’ll be worth using the iD Mobile app/website while logged into the account for that number to change direct debit details, however note that should payments be missed, this would affect the account holder, not the person who’s direct debit it is.
