changed bill date but money is still going out from previous date

Hi, I've changed my bill due out date to what suits me but my money is still going out on original date for some reason, why is this

This may be down to when you changed the billing date as it takes a while to kick in especially if it was around the time of your original payment date.

Did you change your billing date before or after the bill that was taken was issued?

 

Bills are issued 2 weeks before payment happens, so if you change your direct debit date after a bill is issued, it wouldn’t count that already issued bill.

 

Bills afterwards would follow the new date.
