I’ve recently taken out a different ID mobile account and gave my STAC code for my old one but have had no confirmation of the original account being closed. On the app it still says the original account will renew in 21 day.

You can’t use a PAC or STAC to port or cancel with the same network. You need to provide iD Mobile with the required notice if you want to cancel your old iD Mobile account as per the terms of your agreement. You can do that by speaking with a live chat agent using the link below:
