Hi, I got 3 texts almost simultaneously yesterday in the following order to say:
1) Just a heads up, you've now used 80% of your Bill Cap for this month. Please note: once you hit 100% you won't be able to use any chargeable services... etc
2) You've now used 100% of this month's Bill Cap. You won't be able to use any chargeable services until your next monthly billing period starts; this ensures you never spend more than you want to… etc
3) You've now used 100% of your plan's data allowance. This does not include any add-ons you may have. Any additional data usage will cost 10.24p per MB until your allowances refresh on your next bill cycle… etc
This seems completely wrong as I seem to have used my Bill Cap before my allowances were even used up?!
I also rarely go near my data limit and nothing has changed this month. I have used as much/little as usual. Never have I reached a data limit. I was scrolling social media with no other apps open when these texts came through. I checked my app and I have 0gb data left and have been charged £5 for data used within less than 30 seconds?! Cannot contact ID, live chat not working. No email/number to help with the situation.
I am currently in the EU but have data roaming on and spend 50% of my time here so this is nothing new to my sim/data. Never had this problem in 5 years abroad/with ID.
