Hello,

 

I have had my data roaming on for a maximum of 5 minutes today whilst in Morocco and now I have a charge of £45 on my bill.

 

I mainly only used the roaming to try purchase a data plan however the app would never load so was a waste of data! 
 

please can this be reviewed as this is crazy charges!

Hi ​@Harryely sorry to hear this, data is charged by data used, not time spent. We do offer a data add on for Morocco. We do advise however that this is best to buy while you are still in the UK, on the day of travel, to avoid incurring out-of-plan charges.

Data is nearly £10 per MB in Morocco, so it is quite pricey, which is why we offer these add ons. I am afraid we would be unable to reimburse these charges.

Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@Harryely    

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.
