Data roaming using wi-fi abroad

I have just signed up for an upgrade plan with 40GB data. I have just received a text saying I have gone over my 30GB data roaming allowance. But when abroad I have only used wi-fi for data and switched off data roaming. I cannot understand why it is suggesting I have used mobile data.

Yes @Fatemabibi - as it’s a Greek Island you can use up to 30GB. Thanks.

Even better @Fatemabibi - Use as much as you like then (within your allowances!) as Greece is in our Roam Free destinations! Thanks.
