final bill

I ordered a sim only only from you and cancelled the contract before id even received the sim. I was told my order had been cancelled and I could also cancel my direct debit. I have since received a final bill for £1.74 how is this possible when I didn't even used or received the sim when I cancelled my order.

Unfortunately @Emmy14, iD Mobile always send new pay monthly customers an already activated SIM.

Because you’re connected to the iD network on the date they dispatch your active SIM, iD begin charging for your iD Mobile network connection, whether or not you actually use their network services.

Thanks. That's good of them, charging you when you've not even used their service and cancelled the sim before it even arrives 😡. Glad I'm not staying with them!!!

Hi @Emmy14

As @andewhite suggests iD Mobile SIM cards are activated upon dispatch, with billing beginning at that point.

We wouldn’t charge based on if you used the service or not as this isn’t a Pay As You Go plan.
