Alas, that’s the iD Mobile way
New iD SIM cards are dispatched already activated, and iD start billing from the date of dispatch (which might be a little bit sneaky perhaps).
Anyway, if you ordered a pay monthly iD product, you’ve been charged for the network connection whether used or not, until your disconnection. I suspect this is covered somewhere in your iD contract terms & conditions.
