I was a victim of fraud, in the sense somehow someone was able to use my details to change my plan and order an iphone 14. When I contacted ID mobile through webchat 3 weeks ago, they said I needed to report it and give them the crime reference number which I did. They did say the iPhone did not get sent out which was good, they couldn't tell me how someone was able to order and change my plan which is concerning, but did say that because they have the crime reference number they will put my plan and charges back to what is was. But they haven't 3 weeks later and I am on a lot less data than I was on my original plan. What do I do? Every time I contact them on webchat I have to explain everything again as they said they cannot see the previous chat. They keep saying the plan will change back but its not. HELPP PLEASEEE

Maybe send iD customer service a PM via their social pages, using Facebook Messenger or X (formerly Twitter), @Bhav012008

Unlike the online Live Chat, you should only have to explain the situation once.

There is no email address. TBH, you would probably be better off waiting for one of the iD Mobile team to respond to your post here given the circumstances. Hopefully that will happen sometime tomorrow.

Hey there @Bhav012008, we’re very sorry to hear you’ve been a victim of fraud, and having issues with the live-chat.

On what date did you raise this with us please?

I ask, as fraud investigations take our fraud team up-to 30 working days, and they’ll be in touch with you directly regarding the result of the investigation.

Thanks,

Tyler

It was 1st raised to you on the 5th September with the action fraud crime reference number. I can provide it on here if you would like? Please make sure that no payment gets taken this month until my original plan and payment is reinstated. Thank you

Hi @Bhav012008

Don’t post your reference numbers here, if you’ve already raised it to us then our fraud team will be in touch within 30 days, please allow that time.

Tom

33 days have passed and nothing has been done nor have I been contacted, which you said I would be contacted within 30 days. I also have been charged the higher amount. How do I complain?
