I have just taken out a SIM only contract to replace my former contract.

Do I need a new SIM card.

I have been issued a Currys credit card

Hi ​@Cobra777,

Welcome to the Community!

If you were previously on iD Mobile and have purchased a new iD Mobile contract you should receive a new SIM.

Just to advise both accounts will be active unless you request to cancel the old one. You won’t be able to move your iD Mobile number from the old account to the new account as we don’t support internal number ports.

Can you please advise regarding a Curry’s Credit Card? Do you mean Gift Card?

I did receive a Gift Card but no new SIM

As I was expecting the SIM only contract to replace the existing contract, but now you say I can’t transfer my current mobile phone number, for me there is no point in swapping contracts.

I think I would be better taking a new contract with a different provider who will keep my current number

I find it frustrating and rather irritating not being able to speak to someone

Hi ​@Cobra777,

Have you taken a look at your upgrade options on your old contract?

You can upgrade the old one, keep the number that way and cancel the new one.
