how to contact help line

How can I contact with ID mobile helpline

Best answer by JoeKing

@atiqrahman.ce  ID mobile don't have a help line as such, you'll have to post your concerns here but make sure you don't include any private information unless quested my staff members.

Or log into the Live Chat and type in the message box To Speak to someone.

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

That number is for use by vulnerable customers with communication difficulties (such as difficulty hearing, speaking, or visual impairment), poor mental health, physical disability, learning disability, low literacy, or anyone unable to take care of themselves. If you haven’t registered as a vulnerable customer, they will just redirect you to live chat (or they should).

I was given that number by Currys and rang it multiple times and they were quite happy to speak to me. My partner also used the same number and absolutely fine. You can also call the automated number and go through to upgrades/cancellations and speak to someone there. I know I've done it I had multiple issues with my phone and spoke to a person. 03330037777

All the numbers you posted are listed on iD Mobiles website for all to see. They ain’t no secret. I guarantee once staff read what you posted here, the vulnerability team will be instructed to direct non-vulnerable customers to live chat, which is what they are supposed to do anyway.

The second number I quoted is not for vulnerable customers. If people aren't suppose to use it then why have the number. Why have anyone on the other end of the phone if we as customer shouldn't call ? Ridiculous

Did I say the second number wasn’t to be called? No! Did I say the second number you posted was only to be used by vulnerable customers? No! I said, and I quote “All the numbers you posted are listed on iD Mobiles website for all to see. They ain’t no secret.”

FYI - 7777 or 03330037777 is an automated line and nobody will get any customer support using that number. Not even vulnerable customers!

Regardless. my point is this… If the vulnerability team were kind enough to assist you with an issue even though you weren’t a vulnerable customer, then maybe you should have kept that between you and them. Because once every Tom, Dick and Harry start calling them, I guarantee you they won't assist you next time you call or anyone else that isn't registered as vulnerable.

You didn't point out specifically which number you were referring to. Again I'll tell you for fact you can speak to someone on the 7777. You wanna get all up on your horse because you think your right 😂. I have spoke to.people on multiple occasions on that number I have double checked it was definitely that number I have the call records. As I said before the vulnerable number was the number Currys gave me however I had spoken to people multiple times via the 7777 number who were the ones that told me to go to Currys. Are they paying you to.be awkward Christ trying to help someone out and your getting all bent up about it. 🤦

Hi @ha05ger

We understand and appreciate your intentions to help here on the community, however @WelshPaul is correct, the number you’re giving out is the vulnerable customers number, please refrain from encouraging standard customer service queries contact that number.

It is for vulnerable customers only, not standard queries.

Standard queries from non-vulnerable customers should contact us here on community, via Facebook & Twitter, or the live chat.

Tom

You can only speak to someone using that number when reporting your phone as lost or stolen. They will not entertain any account-related queries or provide you with any technical support, which is probably why they told you to go to Curry’s.

We are discussing 2 numbers. One of which isn't for vulnerable customers and I have spoke to people on that number. The number is actively available on the id website that's how I got it. I didn't pull any trick to speak to someone I just pressed the correct buttons and spoke to someone. Simple as that

They told me to go to Currys to get a new SIM card as the 2 they had sent me weren't working. As I've said I've spoke to them on numerous occasions and they are very helpful. We can keep going back and forward I don't care but I'm just stating the facts. Some people like to speak to a human being like myself. It's far quicker and easier to explain my problems. They were more than helpful and I cannot fault them. I'm not going to tell people they can't speak to someone when they most definitely can as I have. I have never mentioned I'm a vulnerable customer or anything like that I just rang explained what I need and was directed to the correct team who which they transferred me too.
