Hi @Jacek Siebor,

Welcome to the Community!

It can take 2-24 hours for your account to be unbarred and services to resume.

It’s always worth restarting the handset as it can refresh your services.

Please get in touch with our Live Chat Team if you are still having issues.

Hey @owillox,

Are you still facing issues? Looking at your account there are no bars that would restrict services.

Thanks.

I have had nothing but trouble for nearly 3/4 weeks trying to get a new SIM card and I got 1 today and when I got home and trying to activate my card I was given 6 boxes to fill with the numbers  you sent which was 8 numbers how does that work.

Hello Izzy (@Isabel McDonald)

The instructions I posted earlier on your other posts should have taken you to your account, whether that was online or on the mobile app.

From there you should only have had to:

  1. Open the iD Mobile app or log-in to My Account Online.
  2. Tap ‘Plan’.
  3. Tap ‘SIM & phone management’.
  4. Tap ‘Activate a replacement SIM’.
  5. Enter and confirm your 19-digit SIM card number.
  6. Tap ‘Activate your SIM

Number 5 was the important bit. The SIM card has a unique 19 digit number BUT please keep reading this.

What are the 6 boxes you’re referring to?

However having just checked the steps above myself using my app I’VE SPOTTED SOMETHING THAT I THINK SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE CLEARER. THE FIRST 8 DIGITS OF THE SIM CARD ARE ALREADY FILLED OUT, so this explains where you’re seeing the 8 numbers. iD Mobile should have made there instructions clearer on their help pages and in the app menu IMHO.

So you write the remaining numbers of your new SIM card in the top box, then confirm the SAME digits in the second box

I can’t answer why you had to change your password or why you had to change it four times.
