I had amended my direct debit details in the beginning of Dec-24. My next bill was not due until 3rd Jan, so the amendment was well before the actual payment date. However, the direct debit did not go through my bank and I had to make the payment manually instead. I also contacted my bank to check if there was issue at their end, but I was told that they do have control over direct debit payments going through.
I have since re-entered my direct debit details. Can you please confirm if there are any issues at your end so I won’t have the same issue again?
