termination fee for a monthly rolling contract

I recently started a monthly rolling contract with id mobile but within weeks decided to switch provider.
I was charged by id mobile for the month but my 2nd, “final” id mobile bill not only lacks deducted amount for remaining days of the month but also shows a “termination fee”. How is that? I wasn’t on a 12 or 24 month contract.

Hi @Marth,

Welcome to the Community!

When you cancel your contract we would require 30 days notice.

If you use your PAC code within the 30 day contract a termination fee may apply.

If you are due any credit it will reflect on your final bill.

Hi, I’m in a similar position and find this answer entirely unacceptable. I opted for a monthly plan so that this wouldn’t happen! It also feels like it’s a policy that runs against the whole reason PAC codes were introduced. I expected at the worst to pay to the end of the month in which I left but to charge me more than £50 (equivalent to more that a years worth of monthly fees) for leaving for a better rate else where  is insane. I’d like this charge deleted please. Let me know what I need to do to make that happen.

@Fayzerfire,

The termination fee sounds high for a 30 day rolling plan.

Please can you contact our Live Chat Team to have this checked out.
