Hi 

I ordered a contract phone but changed my mind within a day so cancelled and sent back .I didn't even open the box but now I'm being billed for a sim that wasn't activated is this normal for id

Hey there ​@Diann72, although you may not have received it, you’d be charged for the time the line-rental was opened for, as it opens from dispatch.

 

If you cancelled due to a change of mind only, then you’d still be liable to pay for these charges only.

Can you please confirm how you cancelled the service? Did you port a number from us to another provider?

Hi Nat

I ordered a phone and sim with mobiles .Co UK

And cancelled the day it arrived due to circumstances changing .

I was sent a final  bill from id mobile for my usage so wasn't sure if I was charged for having the sim sent with the phone

Hi Nat 

I ordered a contract phone with mobiles direct and changed my mind the phone or sim wasn't opened and sent back the following day I've now been sent a bill for final payment .Is this normal to be charged for having iD sim even when cancelled in first 14 days without use
