When is my last payment due?

If my contract start date was 27 February 2024 when is my last monthly contract payment due?

Best answer by WelshPaul

Sorry. Badly phrased question. What is the date when my contract officially ends?

As per my previous post, it doesn’t end until you decide to end it. To find out when your minimum term date will be, you’ll need to refer to the contractual length you agreed to when signing up.

Your payments will continue until you port your number to a different network or give iD Mobile the required 30-day notice.

Let me try again. I took out a 24 month contract on the 27th February 2024. On what date does my contract officially end?

I realise that I’ll keep paying until  I PAC out or give notice. That’s not the question I’m asking.

Hi @defizr,

Thanks for getting in touch. To confirm, if your plan expires on 27/01/2026, your final bill would’ve already been generated, however as mentioned by @WelshPaul, the plan does not automatically disconnect or change, you will need to contact us directly to change or cancel the plan.

If you are wanting to upgrade or change your plan, you can get in touch with our sales team, either via live chat or call them on 0800 049 0250.

Regards,

Gemma

iD Mobile offers SIM-only and handset plans with minimum terms of 1, 12 and 24 months. The original poster hasn’t specified which type or length they agreed to so it’s possible they’ve already exceeded the minimum length term. If @defizr wants to know their exact minimum term completion date they should chat with a live chat agent who can confirm it.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I’ve found the button on the app that tells me how much I owe till the end of my contract so I can sort it out now. Thanks again.

If all you wanted to know was how much your early termination fee would be, all you needed to do was to text INFO to 85075.

I’ve tried 85075 a number of times but it always gives me an error message.

Your payments will continue until you port your number to a different network or give iD Mobile the required 30-day notice.

That is wrong under Ofcom "Text to switch" rules no notice period is required and you can only be charged up to and including the day you port out via a PAC or utilise a STAC. Unless under minimum term, but even then a request to leave cannot be refused.

Hi @JJ UK.

Thank you for your post and for sharing your understanding of the Ofcom “Text to Switch” rules.

Just to clarify how this works with iD Mobile terms and conditions, we do require notice to be given if a customer plans to leave and is not upgrading their account.

However, requesting a PAC or STAC code is an alternative method of disconnection. In these cases, the account is disconnected once the code is provided and then processed by the new network as part of the transfer process.

We appreciate you taking the time to raise this and share your thoughts.

Thanks,

Marquerita

Why have you tried to shut me down when you've literally just confirmed what I've said.
