why did i get charged extra

Goy charged an extra £3 and didn't go over my bill what would that have been for they haven't stated why in any emails or anything 

Are there any clues in the itemised charges section of the iD bill with the extra £3 charge, @Rhys Spence? 

Perhaps the extra £3 might be a premium rate SMS message.
