Wrong Phone Number on Direct Debit

I ordered a new phone fron carphone warehouse, the first one was "involved in an incident" so they sent a replacement out. In between this ID set-up my DD with what I assume is the number for the original phone sent, the SIM i received has a different number.  What happens now because I won't be receiving the SIM that they are billing me for.

The DD is linked to your iD account rather than your number so I wouldn’t worry.

Unfortunately it wasn't that simple. Ive had to go get a replacement sim to activate against the number that should be on my account. Right faff....2 hours between carphone warehouse and ID this morning just yo try and workout what's gone wrong and how to fix it!

I’m not quite sure what’s gone wrong in this case, the direct debit number is your account number (NOT your phone number) so we’d expect that to be different and wouldn’t affect service.

 

Could you give us a bit more information on what’s gone wrong and if you still need any assistance?
