Accessing SMS messages

Hello

I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently traveling abroad and using a different SIM card temporarily. I was wondering how I can access my SMS messages from my original number during this period. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Matilda

You would be able to access your SMS messages, for your original number, by putting the original SIM in a handset. Text messages are free to receive wherever you are @matildas.

I think when a SMS is sent the system will try and deliver the message for up to 7-days - after this you won’t be able to get the text message, unless the sender sends it again.

Hi @matildas.

@andewhite is correct here. The best way to view your SMS messages is to place the iD SIM temporarily into the phone to receive them. They will still be sent through.
