I am thinking of keeping my existing phone but MUST keep my existing number ( its been mine for 26 years) .Once the phone has been paid for will ID reduce rate to equivelant of sim only rates. Looking at other questions it seems hard going sim only and keeping your number.

Hi @largestalan,

Once your 24-month minimum term comes around we do not automatically reduce your tariff, however we do allow you to choose to move to a SIM only plan. These are monthly rolling plans that can then be cancelled at any time. Upgrades can be selected from within your app/account online.

If you wish to stay with us and need a new phone, you can also choose a new phone on another 24-month tariff.

Sorry for not catching this one sooner @largestalan

Providing you do a plan change by logging into your existing account and changing it to a tariff that better suits you.

Then yes!  You will keep your number.

It would only ever be if you simply go and purchase a brand new SIM from our website (which would work as a second brand new line in such a case) in which you’d have a new number.
