Trying to register but keeps on saying the details (last name or DOB) are incorrect. I’ve tried various options including removing the hyphen from my name, trying one of the names and using no or all caps lock but nothing has worked.

Have you definitely not registered before?
It may be worth trying the login method and resetting the password to see if that works.
