Can't send text messages


Following on from the issues yesterday, I can now make and receive calls and receive text messages. I can't however send text messages. My phones Android and I've restarted my phone multiple times, tried a different messaging app and still messages fail to send. Are there still issues with sending messages?

Same here - txt not working at all. Can't get into internet banking or work emails etc because can't receive txt codes. These guys are an absolute joke. 


Good luck trying to get through to the online chat or making a complaint. Last time I did they said they would be back in touch via txt despite me telling them that my txts didn't work!!!

Is anyone still not able to make calls or SMS? I have had this problem for last day. No icon on phone showing connectivity? Just says no Sim Card, No Service.

Hi Sian, yes still got issues. Can't send text messages, says failed to send. Restarted phone multiple times as well

Still can’t send text messages even though the issues are supposedly resolved. Restarted phone yet again but still nothing. Is anyone else still having issues sending texts?

It may be worth resetting your network settings but if you still have issues, please let us know.

Hello Kash,

 

Currys have given me a new Sim card following connectivity problems. Presently, the voicemail does not work and says ‘the number you have called is not recognised’.

Can you help? I have toggled off and on my voicemail facility.

I changed to Id mobile in of Sept 24, moved across my old three number to the new sim and handset from Mobiles.co.uk. My wife was a joined a few months before. Ever since I have not been able to send SMS texts to android phones. I checked my wife's phone and that had the same issue We can make and receive calls, use iMessage, data is all fine and receive texts from Androids but I cannot text them back, the message just keeps saying not delivered in red and “message sending failure”.

I have raised this issue on live chat twice and was - no help there. I was given this premium number , however I don't think I should incur additional support cost for something he should be working from the word go.

We have the iPhone13's and We have done all of the reset network settings and all the usual tests by turning off iMessage and on again, putting phone into airplane mode etc, full network resets everything and still not working. The phone number(s) is the correct one in the iMessage settings etc too.

I'm now looking forward to this contract ending so we can move to another network and end this nightmare. we were attracted by the option to use the roaming in the EU countries, haven't been away as yet but I'm betting I doesn't work.

Any suggestions is welcome.

Please can you try the steps below and let us know how you get on.

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

Do you have issues with texts to all Android numbers/phones, or just a particular phone number?
