data add on pack not working while roaming

Hi I am currently in Spain on holiday and have used up my 30gb roaming allowance. I have purchased a 6gb data add on and it has bumped up my remaining data by 6gb but has not allowed me any more roaming data. Before I purchased the pack I read the faqs and it clearly says you can use data add ons while roaming. What's going on? And can I get a refund if it's not working?

Forum members can’t look at iD customer accounts for privacy and security reasons @Gal126, so probably best to contact iD customer service using one of their primary support channels:

The agents work until 8pm on weekdays (6pm at weekends).

I have gone through the chat route without any resolution I am now waiting for a phone call

Okay @Gal126, don’t hold your breath.

Anyway, you might be a victim of their fair usage policy, if your iD account bill cap is £0. The policy seems a bit confusing.

If you have used 30GB data you won’t be able to use more including add-ons.
