Hi, I’m in France. Just wondering if unused data when roaming in France is carried over , I’m guessing not. But more importantly how do I check my usage as I really don’t want to pay the additional charges.

To see how much data you’re able to use while roaming, we’d recommend using the below;

To avoid any unwanted out of plan charges, it’s worth setting a bill cap in the iD Mobile app.

+26Unfortunately, you can’t check your mobile data usage from your iD account during a billing period,
You can check mobile data usage on your phone though.
Most iD plans have a 30GB/month roaming mobile data allowance for France.
Many thanks, it’s as I suspected , quite annoying really. I’m sure this could be fixed.
