Failed credit check due to taking out two contracts in quick succession

Hi, after some advice please..

I took out a contract on an iPhone 14 earlier this week with id mobile by mistake. I have since attempted to cancel this contract and will be returning it straight away when it arrives tomorrow as DPD have said its out for delievery.

I then attempted to take a contract out again with id mobile on the phone I do want (iPhone 14pro)  last night before the credit check was declined. I'm 100% certain this was due to taking out two contracts in a couple of days. My question is, how long do I have to wait until id mobile recognise I have cancelled the first mistake contract and therefore accept the credit check and allow me the correct contract?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

As multiple credit checks have been attempted in a short space of time, we would advise allowing 90 days before trying again.
