Found a phone and want to return it

I found a phone on the street yesterday, i have tried several different ways to find a contact or anything to get the phone back to its owner, can you help me?

Hello @Trying to do a good deed,

Have you tried turning the device on seeing if there’s any information you can get this way?

Is the SIM card in the phone an iD Mobile SIM card?

the device is locked and won’t connect to any network or wifi, yes the sim card is an ID mobile one. i can provide you with an imei number and any other identifying numbers on the phone for you to find out if the owner has a contract with yourselves, i was hoping you could get a message to them that i found their phone.
