My number was ported over from iOS to android have peculiar problem in that I can send text to friends iPhones but when they reply I don't seem to receive anything. Problem seems more prevalent with those on ios
I ported over from Giffgaff to id..

I believe that this may be due to an issue with your mobile number still being linked to the iMessage service available for iOS devices.
Please can you try to deregister your phone number on iMessage to see if this helps? Click here for further help with removing your number from iMessage.
