help regarding sms and imessage on iphone 14

Hi. I have an iPhone 14 and my number has just transferred to ID mobile a day later than it should have been but I am now on ID mobile.

however, when I try to send a text message, the phone says the message has not sent despite the recipient receiving the text.

iMessage also does not work at all. I’ve checked and it’s turned on and I am signed in.

please help.

Hi @Hello123432

I’d recommend the above from @andewhite, the SMS sending but still showing as undelivered tends to be fixed with a network settings reset or by ensuring the number is the settings is the correct one.

Does the receiver of the SMS receive the SMS from the correct ported number or the one we gave you initially?

Tom

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on your Apple iPhone @Hello123432

The Apple iOS user guide usually explains how to do this.

Yes I’ve tried that thank you. But it has not worked sadly.

Is the correct mobile number displayed in “Settings > Phone > My Number@Hello123432?

In addition, the correct mobile number should also appear within the DEVICE INFO section, found in “Settings > Apple ID > [Your iPhone name]”.
