Holiday travel in Patagonia

I have a new phone with a physical iD Mobile SIM. I am travelling to South America and my travel company are providing me with an eSIM for Latin America to access the local network for navigation purposes etc. Can I use this?

When I go to “Add eSIM” under “Mobile Services” I get the message “Your SIM is not supported. This phone number can’t be transferred because your account is ineligible.”

Can you please confirm which handset you are using and if you are aware, the network you will be using with the eSIM?

This may be a network restriction on their side but we would be happy to see what we can advise 😀
