How do I unlock my Smartphone to use a US SIM while I am on Holiday in the USA?
Do I need a code from ID Mobile to unlock it?
Will I need to make any changes to make the US SIM work?
Will I need to make any changes when I return to the UK and re-insert my UK ID Mobile SIM?
Do I risk losing any data/information by switching to the US SIM - i.e. will everything I had before I switched in the US SIM still be there when I re-insert my ID Mobile SIM?

If your phone is unlocked then you should be fine. Just pop the second SIM in and it'll ask you which SIM you want to use for calls texts and data.

Your phone will work as normal, you won't lose anything and you can leave the second SIM in permanently. You just need to make sure you select which SIM to use when in each country.

it’s a Galaxy S10+

I have been looking at Simcorner and it looks like I can buy a pre-paid sim for £20-30 that will have plenty of data.

I also checked out my phone settings and it looks like my phone is unlocked and that I have a second sim slot, so could put a US sim in alongside, or instead of, my ID Sim while I am in th eUS
