How long to transfer number from old network to Id?


I have just ordered eSim this morning, which has been activated on my phone.

I did include the number I wanted to transfer and my PAC code in the order process. However, it looks like I didn’t specify a transfer date. Should I have? How long does it take for the number to transfer?

I can see both sims on phone but my old O2 physical sim is still connected to my number.

All resolved.

Decent service so far. Better coverage than O2 for me so far.

The 3 months of free Apple TV+ was a nice surprise as well.

Well @SteCunningham, what date did you select for your switch, from O2 to iD? 

Switching requires some advance notice, so if you ordered an iD Mobile eSIM on 3 July 2024 (before 17:30), the earliest date you could switch to iD would be 4 July 2024.

As I said, I didn’t select a date, I must have missed it but I’m surprised I wasn’t warned in the online journey.

I just want to know that not selecting a date does not mean it will never happen. It will happen in the next day or two?

Okay @SteCunningham, sorry I missed this detail - anyway, just a forum member here, like yourself. 

Unfortunately iD Mobile seem to allow PAC submission without a switching date selection - i.e. switch doesn’t happen.

To get this sorted, I’d suggest the Live Chat service at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays - the chatbot works 24/7.

You may need to tell the chatbot you want to “talk to a person”.

I am having the same issue. I submitted my PAC last Thursday and and I am still without any services? It is now Wednesday
