I’m using a WWAN Card (Fibocom L-830eb) in a Thinkpad x280 running Fedora 37, the cellular modem works without issue and can establish an initial connection to the cell tower, however upon attempting to register, no more functionality beyond that point.
PS. I did put the sim card in a phone and it did work.
And yes, the phone number and sim card does appear in mmcli.
