To get an iPhone XS/ XR SIM you shouldn't of had to pay any extra there. However if you could reach out to us we'll put this right.

Include in your email your full name, address, mobile number, and date of birth, and your username here. One of our team should be able to pick that up and we'll credit your iD Mobile account with £5 to put things right there.

Maybe add a link to the topic too, just in case it's not me who's answering the emails tomorrow for added familiarity.

Hello Rich,

Please can you confirm that nothing is in the face of SIM (the Gold Chip Side) and that the simis in the correct way and correctly inserted into the SIM holder. The guidance form Apple is here - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201420

Best Regards
Ian

Hi @Rich123,

Just adding to what @iamyelling has suggested, the error message you have generally means that the phone does not recognise that a SIM card is inside, so if it has been inserted correctly, we'd advise contacting Apple for support as it could be faulty.

All sorted turns out most Id SIM cards don’t work in the new iPhones and you have to get a new one cost me another £5 but at least I’m up and running!

thanks anyway
