Issue: eSim activation abroad - cannot receive calls

I have an eSim. I am currently abroad but I had to buy a new iPhone.

I contacted Idmobile - got a new eSim.

Started activation - got the SMS to say the activation process started but never got one to say that it completed.

I do receive SMS and I can make calls but nobody can call my number. Anyone trying to call me on my mobile # is getting a message to say that “the call cannot be connected”. It does not go to Voicemail.

So far Support has not been able to figure out what s wrong. Any idea? Thx

@esieens have you tried the folllowing?

  1. Open ‘Settings’.

  2. Tap ‘Apps’.

  3. Tap ‘Phone’.

  4. Tap ‘My Number’.

  5. Enter your mobile number, using +44 instead of the first 0.

  6. Tap ‘Save’.

Have your tried a NETWORK RESET on the iPhone with your iD Mobile eSIM, @esieens

The iOS user guide has details of the reset procedures.
