My number has still not transferred

It’s been over a week now I got my new phone and my phone number has not been transferred. I used a PAC code and it was working for a day or so but now it’s reverted back to the temporary number?

I had the text confirmation that it had switched but it hasn’t?

Please can someone help me

Sorry to hear about your switching problem, @Mollie Pike

  1. Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on the handset with your iD SIM card?
    A reset sometimes helps in this situation - the procedure would be described in the handset user guide.
  2. Does the number you wanted to keep get displayed in your iD online account?
  3. Does your old service provider’s SIM card still work?

Hi @Mollie Pike

It’d be strange for it to be working for a day and then suddenly back to the number we gave.

When you call outbound, does the desired number show on the receiving end or the temporary number?

Have you tried the above suggested by @andewhite and doing a network settings reset?

For iPhone;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

For Android;

Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.
