Okay @Benjones234, have you changed your payment date?

Yeah will it just be one 20 pound charge?

In most cases, everything reverts to normal once the date change has been through one billing cycle.

Hello @Benjones234,

This is often down to one of few factors:

  • You’ve changed your payment date
  • You recently upgraded or changed your plan/tariff
  • You have out of plan usage for exceeding allowances or roaming or international calls
  • You have purchased add-ons

The bill should be able to provide a full breakdown so you’ll get an idea of what these charges are for.

If the bill is only for line rental, check the period that this covers.

Normally a bill covers 1-month in advance.

Bills following a Direct Debit date change may cover a bigger period due to moving the bill date which is normal (and advised when submitting the request).

Bills following a plan change or upgrade will provide a credit for period of time from the date you upgraded/changed and then re-bill you the new amount. This can cause the bill to be higher or lower depending on the plan you changed to.
