Nano sim deactivated

This is beyond frustrating.

I currently have a rolling SIM only plan and I have ordered a new device with a 24 contract last Friday. The new device has eSIM so I asked to get that option.

Now, the new device has not been shipped yet and iD decides to activate the existing nano SIM at 11pm. So I'm stuck with no phone, middle of the night, the current device is not eSIM compatible and there is no support what so ever.

I have no idea when they will ship the new device yet I'm being billed for the contract already and have no working phone on top of that!

 

Is this a joke?

No, its not a joke and yes this is an ongoing theme - order an eSIM and your current SIM is kaput with immediate effect🙄

 

The quickest way would be to pop down to you local Currys and ask for a replacement SIM.

 

You would then need to activate this replacement SIM yourself:

 

 

Then when the new phone arrives (and only when its in your hand) order another new eSIM
