Due to switch to 3rd June, received eSIM QR code, should I be waiting until switch day to use it? Also, when trying to log in to app, it’s saying contact number isn’t recognised?

You should be able to use the QR whenever you’re ready,
If you use it before the switch takes place, your eSIM will get the number iD allocated for your new connection, to their network.
Once your switch has completed, you’ll be using the number you wanted to keep with your eSIM.
