new esim. not registered on network & don't know what the number is

Hi, I have bought a new esim and followed the instructions to scan the QR code. That has added the esim and I have the signal indicator showing for the new sim.  I can't make a call etc because it says 'not registered on network'.  I have set up an account but it's telling me to add my ID mobile number.  How do I find what the number is? It's not in any of the emails, I can't send a text because by phone s22 ultra needs me to add the phone number.

Okay @Cathy Andrews, sounds like the eSIM hasn’t been activated yet. Perhaps the QR code email had some clues about when your eSIM would be activated.

FYI, the members of this online iD forum can’t look at iD customers accounts, so maybe try speaking to iD support online at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

The iD advisers work until 8pm on weekdays (6pm at weekends) - the iD chatbot works 24/7.
