New sim via Uswitch

Have seen a sim deal via switch for an ID new sim which will suit my needs.

Sim is for my daughters iPhone 14 which will be her first active phone as a Christmas present.

Now as its a new sim does it generate a number for her to use as her own.

My confusion is on the application it offers drop down box switching from another network .

As its her first sim why is there an option for this as I just want a new contract with new number for her .

Appears to be no option to remove this.

Will it just default to a new connection and new number ?

Confused a bit?

A new SIM only plan would require a new connection to the iD Mobile network @ScubaStevo
New iD connections get a new phone number. If you’re not switching, then you’ll keep the mobile number iD allocated for the new connection.

FYI, iD Mobile charge for line rental from the date the SIM is dispatched.

Hi @ScubaStevo

A new order via Uswitch would be a completely new contract, this would be a new SIM card with a new number applied to it.
