Hi,
I registered an ID account using my email address for my mum (As she is not familiar with technology and it’s easier to manage from my email address).
Eventually she cancelled her account.
Recently I have switched to ID mobile myself.
However I can’t register using my email address because it’s attached to an account I set up for my mother using my email address (Which is no longer active).
Is there any way I can register using my actual email address?

Unfortunately
This is a limitation of the current iD online system used for their “My iD Account”.
You’ll need to use another unique username (email address) for your new iD online account.
Once you’ve registered, you can use another email address for communications from iD, by changing the details in your online account’s profile.
