No confirmation/shipping email

I've recently pre-ordered the latest Google pixel 6 pro. Yet, I have not received any confirmation email or message relating to the shipping/dispatch information. 

 

I made the order over a week in advance. I've heard nothing except the receipt email. This is concerning. It feels reminiscent of being scammed.

 

I tried to utilise the phone service but without an id mobile number or sim, this was impossible. Instead, I suffered through minutes of robotic drivel not realising how fruitless this attempt would be until I was hung up on. Why do you people insist on making contact with a human being as difficult as physically possible?

 

Now I've had to use this message board on the vague hope of making some degree of human contact. I've only just started with id mobile but I'm already infuriated at the contact process, so I'm sending this message into the ether hoping for a shadow of an echo.

Good luck, I've been told they have no idea what happened only that their system didn't enter a date against my order due to an error. 

I've asked for an update and the best anyone has been able to do is to tell me to call back if I still don't receive the phone some time in December.

There's a few of us discussing this In this thread but after a vague statement about some December orders being bumped up to January CS seem to have stopped replying.

 

You can also make a formal complaint via voicemail by calling 0800 049 2402 and leaving a message but it states that they'll take a week to respond and that's probably even longer now with this fiasco.

Correction, bumped up to November, why on earth does this forum not have an edit function?
