Question

NO SIM message recently switched from EE

I’ve recently switched to ID from EE on an iPhone 14. I provided a PAC code and the switch appeared to have worked ok as scheduled on the 12th Dec. Yesterday my phone stopped making and receiving calls and said no service.
After reading multiple threads on here it seems I might have an eSIM. When I’ve looking in settings it was visible and linked to EE.

Thinking this might be the problem and following advice from another thread I’ve deleted the eSIM and now my phone is saying ‘No SIM’. Now I’ve lost all messaging as well as calls.
Please can anyone help?

Okay @Ajmad12, have you read the topic by @CallmeRaiven

This topic says after deleting the eSIM, it then took 3-4 days before everything sorted itself out.

Hi @Ajmad12

Do you have any service while using the iD Mobile SIM card in your device?

Have you tried deleting the eSIM as suggested above by @andewhite?

Hi both,

Yes I found the thread before leaving the message. It was this advice that meant I lost the SIM altogether, however it was definitely the right advice.

I’ve nipped into my local Currys today. They were amazing. Apparently my eSIM was down as my primary number so once that was changed everything is working perfectly.

thanks so much for replying though and fingers crossed I’m all sorted now. 😀
