Not getting SMS Verification messages?

Transferred my number from Asda Mobile yesterday- all ok except I cant receive any SMS verification messages from eg Bank and other companies- really frustrating as I need to set these apps up. Went through chat and its been escalated (48 hours before a response). Looking at threads this seems to be a common problem- is there a common fix? I have done all the good stuff around re-sets, checking settings etc but still no joy.

Hi @Althusser, sorry to hear about this. Removing the SIM for 15 minutes while the phone is powered down can sometimes fix this. If not, jump onto the Live Chat and they’ll be able to raise a ticket for you.
