Not receiving texts from Tesco mobile numbers

I am receiving texts just fine from all contacts apart from the 2 I know who are in tesco mobile. Naturally tesco are blaming my network, saying they can see the text has been sent* successfully through their systems. 

I have ensured neither number is blocked, as well as trying a different handset. Tesco even sent out a new sim to her which hasn't done anything.

Both devices have been power cycled and network settings reset, to no avail  

 

Anyone else experienced this? Its just those 2 contacts, no one else....

 

*its my mothers number that's not coming through, and I've spoken to tesco on her behalf

That’s very odd indeed.

 

We’ll see if we can speak to our TechTeam with this one as we’re not sure why this is happening to 2 numbers specifically.

 

I’ve sent you a PM so we can look into this further.

You are able to send message to them. Try to change default message app and send message from Tesco.


I can send messages to them with no problem. I've tried the following measures 

 

Downloaded a different message ap, and send a text from tesco to me

Power cycle the phone.

Power cycle MY phone. 

Reset network settings on both devices. 

Tried their sim card in a different phone

Got a replacement sim card (for them)

Tried texting to and from different locations

Booted phone in safe mode and tried sending a text

 

None of it does anything. I'm convinced its an issue between our 2 networks. But I have no idea

Definitely appears to be a problem with tesco mobile and ID, a 3rd number tried texting me today from tesco and nothing came through.
